Terra Contracting was awarded the excavation and shoring project for Main and Twentieth by Landa Global Properties. This project involved Terra excavating to a depth of 6 m below ground elevation and installing 3 rows of anchor and shotcrete. The geotechnical consultant for this project were Davies Geotechnical Inc.

During this project, Terra excavated and hauled approximately 8,000 m3 of soil, installed 8,600 sf of shotcrete, and 3,800 lf of conventional anchors. Along with the shotcrete and anchors, Terra also had to facilitate the installation of rakers for one side of the wall. The excavation and installation of the rakers took additional time and care but in the end the project was completed on schedule.

Along with the excavation and shoring scope, Terra was also awarded the slab on grade preparation contract as well.
