TFN 36-Unit Member Housing Project

May 2021 – June 2022
Client: Tsawwassen First Nation
Project Value: $3,100,000

2261 Tsawwassen Drive, Tsawwassen

Terra Contracting was awarded the TFN 36-Unit Member Housing Project by the Tsawwassen First Nation. The scope of work was broken down into two phases which consisted of underground utilities (STM/SAN/WAT/BC Hydro/Comm. Lines), site grading, retaining wall of the entire perimeter of the project site, and specialized landscape items.

Despite the challenges working in a remotely restricted land near an existing dike and residential neighborhood, our team strategized and planned tasks weeks in advance to mitigate and avoid impacts to construction schedule.

Key Highlights:

  • 1,000+ LM underground utilities work crossing existing dike (including JellyFish and Stormceptor Manholes)
  • Cathodic protection of new watermain and services
  • Site grading
  • Various landscaping items including Redi-Rock Retaining Wall
