Terra was a participant in Anthem’s multi-phased mixed-use development project located in South Coquitlam. Phase 2 of the project involved the construction of a 28-storey mixed-use high rise tower and a 6-storey low-rise residential building.
Terra effectively managed the piling/shoring subcontractors to install a vertical secant pile cut-off wall with tied back anchors, which involved the supply and installation of 320 secant piles, each with a diameter of 900 millimeters and depths ranging from 11 to 17 meters as well as 460 of hollow bar anchors. In total, Terra removed approximately 48,000 cubic meters of excavated materials and facilitated a DAS (Disposal At Sea) option.
