Terra conducted a comprehensive test pit investigation at the project site to identify and delineate the extent of soil contamination in preparation for the bulk excavation. The investigation revealed the presence of soil contamination at various depths ranging from 1 to 2.5 meters below the current grade, including CSR RL+ and IL+ contaminants.
Terra successfully executed the remediation of 19,000 metric tons of contaminated soil, and safely transported and disposed of the material at a licensed facility. The project involved a total of 29,000 cubic meters of excavation and the supply and placement of 12,000 metric tons of imported material for the perimeter, footings, and slab on grade preparation.
Terra executed the project efficiently and in accordance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.
